CENTRA: TRAINING ON-LINE
Since 2007 the GTASA in partnership with DECS and ESRI Australia have conducted on-line training for teachers using the CENTRA program. The CENTRA program is an on-line inter-active programme with multi-media and application share capabilities. To find out more about CENTRA go to http://www.centra.com/centra7.asp . The only things required by those participating in the on-line training is a broadband Internet connection, ArcGIS on their computer (provided free to all training participants by ESRI Australia for the duration of the training, a set of multimedia headphones ($16.20 at the OfficeWorks).
GTASA CENTRA sessions on GIS will be conducted again from April- June 2010.
